period of puberty

This period is also called pueral period, ie the transition from childhood to adolescence. In girls, this period is shorter than the boys. At this time, major changes occur in adolescents, the hormone increased sexuality and began development of the sexual organs and reproductive organs adolescents. In addition, the rapid development of the intellect which also occurs in this phase. As a result, these teenagers tend to be critical of others (because he knew everything), which is often manifested in the form of defiance or disproof of parents, started like an adult he thinks is right, and make it as a hero. This behavior will be followed by mimicking everything done by the hero, such as hairstyle, style of speech, to worship the living habits.
Moreover, in this age also tend to be more daring teens expressed the desire of his heart, bolder opinion, even as hard as possible to maintain his opinion. This is often taken by parents as insubordination. Teenagers do not want to be treated as a child. They would rather hang out with a group that is considered in accordance with his pleasure.

But, at the same time, they also need help and are always ready to help from their parents, if they are not able to manifest desires. At this time is a critical moment. If parents are unable to meet the psychological needs to resolve the conflict at the time, teens will seek it from others. so, I think this period is very important. parents should always provide supervision and attention or guidance to them. Projective Test

Projective techniques is one tool that makes it possible to uncover the motives, values, emotional state, and the needs expressed in a difficult situation in a manner reasonable individual personality through the objects projecting outside the individual.
This test is an assessment technique that seeks to learn the personality through the use of stimulus, task, or situation that is relatively unstructured, because this test allows one to "project" motivation in itself for a given assay. In addition to creating the image, projective tests also include storytelling, sentence completion and word association.

The advantage can dig deeper and analyze aspects that can not be revealed in the reports themselves, can bring an understanding for further research. but have problems of reliability and validity. An example of this is projective tests: Draw-A-Person, Inkblot Rorsachach; Thematic Apperception Test (TAT). Muhlisin (12410132)

Social Interaction

Humans are social beings, in addition to it as individual beings. As individual human beings have the motive or impulse to make contact with itself, while as social human beings have the urge to make contact with other people. Humans have a social boost. Like what was said by McClelland (Crider, 1983). With the encouragement or social motives in humans, then humans would find someone else to make contact or interaction hold. So, there will be interaction between the human one with another human being.
Social interaction is a relationship between one individual with another individual, the individual can affect one individual to another, or vice versa. So there is a reciprocal relationship. The relationship can be between individuals with individuals, groups of individuals, or groups with the group.
In the social interaction there is the possibility that individuals can adjust to the other, or vice versa. Understanding adjustment here in a broad sense, namely that the individual can merge with the surrounding circumstances, or otherwise individuals can change the environment in accordance with the state within the individual, in accordance with what is desired by the individual. by Muhlisin (12410132)

what is paranoid personality disorder?

what is paranoid personality disorder?
People with paranoid personality disorder basically do not have confidence in the other person and have the unfounded suspicion towards all people. People will be trapped emotionally by this disorder. People who suffer from this mental disorder will see everyone has evil plans against him, which originated in the early days of maturity, with a variety of situations or factors.
A paranoid patient will feel depressed, when their behavior patterns and suspect to blame someone else forced them to seek safe refuge guarantee. But the problem is, when the protection guarantee is obtained, the patient began to hear many contradictory things. They then felt that something more sinister is being prepared to attack them.
They tend to think: who is the power to control this? They want to know who is in power in these situations. Patients began trying to keep others from themselves, so they only have a few friends only, then prove to themselves that a sinister plan is being prepared to fight them. This has resulted in them living in solitude.

Treatment for people with this kind of disorder is quite difficult, because people will suspect therapist who tried to heal them. The best way is through a similar approach to develop daily business without "therapy inward". Therapists can become a business partner for patients, to assure that not everyone has malicious intent as to what he has been thinking. (12410132) Muhlisin. Ego defense mechanisms
Ego defense mechanisms that individuals use a strategy to prevent the emergence of open id impulses or to face the pressure of the super ego, in order to reduce the anxiety that occurs. Anxiety actually has significance, which serves to help individuals to know the dangers that are threatening. But when anxiety has a high level of tension that it will disrupt the individual. And ego defense mechanisms will help to reduce excessive anxiety. Through some kind of ego defense mechanisms according to Sigmund Freud, among others:
1. Repression.
Mechanism by ego to assuage anxiety by pressing impulses or desires that cause anxiety into unconscious. Effect caused by the repression according to Freud, among others: psychosomatic, neurotic behavior, sexual deviance.
2. Sublimation.
Ego defense mechanism intended to prevent and relieve anxiety by altering and adjusting id primitive impulse that causes anxiety in the form of (behavior) that can be accepted by society, and even appreciated by the public.
3. Projections.
Transfer of encouragement, attitude, or behavior that cause anxiety to others. An example is a lazy student who does not pass the exam and then told his parents, that he did not pass the exam not being lazy, but because his teacher sentiment to him.
4 . Displacement .
Disclosure impulse causing concern to the objects or individuals that are less harmful or less threatening than the individual or the original object . An example is a student punished by her teacher , and her desire to wreak revenge by hitting her in the school or facility damage .
5 . Rationalization .
Individuals attempt to distort the fact that the ego threatened by certain reasons . Example of this is a guy who wants to approach the girl of her dreams , but because of fear of rejection then if he asked why not approach him , he would have replied that the girl was not interested him .
6 . Reaction formation .
Sometimes the individual ego can control primitive impulses that do not appear to consciously express conscious behavior .
7 . Regression .
Individual effort to avoid reality -threatening , returned to a lower level of development . Example of this is a girl who left her boyfriend , then behave like a child .

So there must be a balance between the id and the super ego, so that excessive anxiety is not perceived by the individual. Some of the mechanisms above are theories of Sigmund Freud to address excessive anxiety that is felt by the individual.  (12410132) Muhlisin. Teori-teori Kepribadian by Koeswara.

Therapy for People with Personality Disorders
Dr. David B. Adam, from Atlanta Medical Psychology, said that most psychotherapists have difficulty in dealing with patients with personality disorders. They are the most difficult to fulfill his desire, often hinder communication, avoiding a relationship based on trust, and not be held to explain the origins of psychiatric disorder they experience (The Psychological Letter, Febuari 2000).
According to the Surgeon General, psychiatric disorders can be treated. By utilizing an effective therapeutic method, they can obtain a better condition. There are two models, namely treatment, and social-psychiatric medication (pharmacological). Combination of both is called multimodal therapy, and how it sometimes gives more effective results. Therapy and medication can indeed help, but the patients themselves who should decide to create a better life for themselves.
To obtain relief, a person should have a strong determination to overcome their natural personality disorder. He must have a desire to realize the inner experience and behavior, such as deep trauma or abuse experienced in the past. It also affects the mindset about themselves, their relationships with others, and the environment.

So I think the first important thing in the treatment of patients with personality disorders is to make them aware that they should seek to recover. Then, after desire is owned by new patients were then given through therapy or alternative medicine. . Muhlisin (12410132) from “kiat mengatasi gangguan kepribadian” by Mahari. 2005. Social perception is a process one to know, interpret and evaluate others perceived, about its properties, quality, and other circumstances that exist in the person who is perceived, thus forming a picture of the person who is perceived (Tagiuri in Lindzey and Aronson, 1975).
Some things that affect the human perception, among others:
1.       Stimulus situation,
2.       Social situations and circumstances underlying the stimulus,
3.       circumstances people perceive
Though the same person, but if the social situation is different perception of the results will also be different as well. So, three things influence perception. Because human beings are perceived also able to give effect to the person who perceives.
