This discussion describes human development that focuses on age -related changes in physical , cognitive , social, which occur throughout the life span . Cognitive development specifically focused on changes in the way of thinking , problem solving , memory , and intelligence . Human cognition from the point of view of development , is the result of a series of developmental stages that began in the early years of growth beginning in the early stages . Perception , memory , language and thought processes we are controlled by basic genetic structure that we have inherited and which we experience changes in response to environmental demands that arise in a variety of physical and social interaction . In one corner of view of the nature dichotomy ( nature) and the results of the care process ( nurture ) , some psychologists principle that babies altogether free from innate tendencies , and purely influenced by the experiences of his life , such a view is called tabula rasa or " paper empty " .
One theory put forward by Piaget's cognitive state that intellectual growth is biologically determined and regulated by two processes, namely organization and adaptation, the organization refers to the nature of the mental structures that are used to explore and understand the world. Mind in perspective Piaget structured or organized, increased complexity, and integrated. Think the simplest level is the schema, a mental representation of some of the actions that can be done to the object. Both adaptation includes two processes, namely assimilation and accommodation. Assimilation is the process of obtaining information from the outside, and assimilation with our previous knowledge and behavior. Accommodation include process changes long scheme to process information and new objects in their environment.
