Projective
techniques is one tool that makes it possible to uncover the motives, values,
emotional state, and the needs expressed in a difficult situation in a manner
reasonable individual personality through the objects projecting outside the
individual.
This
test is an assessment technique that seeks to learn the personality through the
use of stimulus, task, or situation that is relatively unstructured, because
this test allows one to "project" motivation in itself for a given
assay. In addition to creating the image, projective tests also include
storytelling, sentence completion and word association.
The
advantage can dig deeper and analyze aspects that can not be revealed in the
reports themselves, can bring an understanding for further research. but have
problems of reliability and validity. An example of this is projective tests:
