First, the key concept that "man is a creature who has needs and desires". This concept can be developed in the process guidance, by looking at the fact that humans have needs and desires of the base.
Second,
the key concept of "anxiety" that can be used as a vehicle for human
achievement of the purpose of guidance, which helps individuals to
understand himself and his environment; being able to choose, decide and plan to live wisely; able to develop the ability and willingness, to solve problems encountered in his life; able to manage the daily activities with good and wise; able to understand and act in accordance with religious, social norms in society.
Third, the concept of psikolanalisis that emphasizes the influence of the past (childhood) against human journey.Although
many experts who criticize, but in some ways this concept corresponds
to the early coaching concept for children in the formation of
individual morality. In the system of Islamic
morals of individual coaching, recommends that families can train and
familiarize his children so they can grow in accordance with the
religious and social norms. These norms can not come in person, but through a long process of interaction from within the environment.
Fourth,
Freud's theories about "stages of development of the individual
personality" can be used in the process guidance, either as material or
approach. This concept gives the sense that the
materials, methods and patterns of guidance must be tailored to the
stage of development of the individual personality, because at each
stage it has characters and different properties.Therefore
the counselor who conducts the guidance must always see the stages of
this development, to his guidance became effective.
Fifth,
Freud's concept of "unconsciousness" can be used in the process
guidance that is performed on individuals with the hope of reducing
impulses drive Id that is irrational so that turned out to be rational.
