Sharing Creativity
Creativity , words are not just limited to crafts , the hand or the results of scientific work . Creativity is a cognitive activity that results in a new view on a form permasalhan and not limited to the results of the pragmatic ( always in perspective according to its usefulness ) . Creativity is not limited only produce something useful .
The creative process
Based on the history of cognitive psychology , Wallas ( 1926) explains that there are four stages in the creative process , namely :
1 ) Preparation . Formulate a problem and make the initial effort to solve it .
2 ) Incubation . The period in which no attempt was made to solve the problem directly and momentarily diverted attention to other things .
3 ) Illumination . Gaining insight ( deep understanding ) of the problem.
4 ) Verify . Test the understanding that has been gained and create solutions .
Despite the empirical support of the four stages of Wallas is still very little , but a lot of psychological literature contains reports from people who had given birth to creative ideas . Model 4 stages of the creative process Wallas has provided a conceptual framework for analyzing creativity .
Investment Theory of Creativity
In science , art , literature , music and other fields , the creative ' buy low , and sell at a high price " ( buy low and sell high ) . This expression as with starting something from scratch with all the effort , though others think that it is stupid and useless . If an idea has developed and successfully , and then a lot of people who imitate , then we can not say that the people who just went along as a creative person . Creative person is the person who first challenged to try and produce something new . In general, creative people who will ' sell high ' ( sell high ) , which means that when an idea has become a trend / fashion , then he will move on to other ideas .
Sternberg and Lubart (1996 ) developed a theory of creativity based on a multivariate approach to a topic , which has 6 attributes . Sixth creativity attributes are:
Ø The process of intelligence
Ø intellectual Style
Ø Knowledge
Ø Personality
Ø Motivation
Ø Kenteks environment
In general , a creative act very rarely found. It such that not mean a person does not have any of the six attributes , but it is very difficult to make the six attributes work together . Creativity theory of Sternberg and Lubart describes the specifications of each attribute is complete , which can be studied in analytical and longitudinal . Examining human creativity is not just a question of identifying and summing each attribute and add it to determine the index of creativity , but rather on identifying and researching / determine the strength of the interaction between each attribute . The combination of the strengths of each attribute allows network formation complex that can confuse the investigators . As a whole , the idea is something that is very complex . Hence these theorists claim that examines creativity is only one attribute of a very risky speculation .
That's a bit of creativity that may provide benefits for all companions , in order to explore their individual creativity . Do not ever stop working , because creativity is the construction of a bridge to ourselves to be valuable to others .
