Carl Gustav Jung was born on June 26, 1875 in a small village in Switzerland called Kessewil . His father was Paul Jung , a country parson and his mother Emilie Jung Preiswerk . He was born in the middle of a fairly large family education . Among the family members of senior Jung , who became pastor there and had thought eccentric .
Senior Jung Jung began teaching Latin when he was 6 years old , and this is the beginning of his interest in language and literature - especially ancient literature . As a teenager , Jung was a loner , introverted and a little concerned with the school , especially as he does not have a competitive spirit .
Although initially select the field that he is an archaeologist , but he msuk to medical school at the University of Basel . Because it works with well-known neurology , Kraft - Ebing , he then set psychiatry as a career choice.
Jung Freud greatly admired and had the opportunity to meet in 1907 . At the first meeting , Freud cancel activities and they talked for 13 hours . Many people who pursue achievements in all fields , they assess the ability of a person of trophies , awards for achievements that have been achieved .. but if we are to understand what exactly the nature of the sense of achievement itself, if we discuss about the sense of achievement that a lot of people who express opinions about definition achievement , both in the field of learning or any other field , here I am trying to gather some opinions on definition achievement of some sources ..
If by the term or proper grammar or EYD General or by Indonesian Dictionary ( 1996:186 ) " Definition The definition of achievement is a result that has been achieved ( done , done , and so on ) " .
According Nasrun Harahap found education skor, achievement is about the development and progress of students with regard to mastery learning material presented to students .
According to Abdul Qohar Khasan Mas'ud achievement is what has can make the work , pleasing results obtained by working tenacity . Achievement can be fixed in the history of human life as a life always pursue achievements in the field and respective capabilities . Learning achievement can give satisfaction to the people concerned , especially those who are studying in the realm of psychiatric school.Prestasi covering all changed as a result of the experience and the student's learning process .
Whereas According Sardiman AM ( 2001:46 ) " Achievement is a real ability that results from interactions between the various factors that influence both from inside and from outside the individual in learning" .
While the sense of achievement according to A. Tabarani ( 1991:22 ) " Achievement is the real capacity (actual ability) is accomplished individuals from one activity or effort " .
Meanwhile, according to WS Winkel ( 1996:165 ) " Achievement is evidence that the business has been achieved .
From the opinions of the above can be concluded that the definition of definition of achievement is a result that has been achieved as a proof of the efforts being made . The notion may be useful for you all

Information processing speed .

Hunt tests to gauge reaction to the letter match task developed by Posner , Boise , Eichelman , and Taylor ( 1969) . Task requires subjects to determine whether the two letters ( for example Aa or Aa ) suitable or not . From the perspective of information processing , physical compatibility condition required only if the subject of the letters on short-term memory and decision making . In the name matching conditions , in addition to process two objects in short-term memory , subjects also had to get back the name of the second object ( which is stored in long term memory ) , make decisions , and then pressing a button - reaction time Hunt assumes that that physically matches only reflect structural processes that are faced by visually encoding and benchmarking , diamana matching name reflects the efficiency of encoding information on a level , where the physical representation of a letter relating to the names of the letters in the long-term memory . In general , the speed of the retrieve information from long-term memory is hypothesized to be a measure of verbal ability .
Studies conducted by Hunt and others to be significant because of two reasons . First , they show that the paradigm of information processing procedure gives much useful for the study of human intelligence . Second , short-term memory associated with the verbal component of intelligence , not merely because of the amount of short -term memory to remember in dealing with intelligence , but because of simple cognitive processes and operations , such as identifying letters in a name or memory of trigram , which relies on long-term memory and short term memory is sensitive to intellectual differences of each individual .

A Genetic Link to Leadership

Posted by Unknown 0 komentar

A specific DNA sequence has been significantly associated with the likelihood that an individual is linked with a leadership position, according to a study, published in Leadership Quarterly.
The study by an international research team used a large twin sample and estimated that a quarter of observed variation in leadership behaviour between individuals can be explained by inherited genes. The rearchers included participants from University College London (UCL), Harvard, NYU, and the University of California.
Lead author Dr Jan-Emmanuel De Neve (UCL School of Public Policy) said:
"We have identified a genotype, called rs4950, which appears to be associated with the passing of leadership ability down through generations. The conventional wisdom - that leadership is a skill - remains largely true, but we show it is also, in part, a genetic trait."
The researchers analyzed compared genetic samples from about 4,000 individuals in two large-scale US samples in the United States, available through the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health (Add Health) and the Framingham Heart Study. These studies included information about jobs and relationships and leadership behaviour was triggered by occupation of supervisory roles in the workplace. The analysis found a significant association between rs4950 and leadership in both surveys.
Achieving a leadership position depends largely on the development of skills but the findings showed that inheriting the leadership trait can also play an important role.
According to Jan-Emmanuel De Neve: "As recent as last August, Professor John Antonakis, who is known for his work on leadership, posed the question: 'is there a specific leadership gene?'
"This study allows us to answer yes - to an extent. Although leadership should still be thought of predominantly as a skill to be developed, genetics - in particular the rs4950 genotype - can also play a significant role in predicting who is more likely to occupy leadership roles."
Noting that we need to know more about influences such as an individual's learning environment in the development of leadership, Dr De Neve observed:
"Our work also draws attention to the ethical issues surrounding the use of genetic tests for leadership selection and assessment, and that we should seriously consider expanding current protections against genetic discrimination in the labour market. Our main suggestion for practice is that this research may help in the identification of specific environmental factors that can help in the development of leadership skills.
"If we really want to understand leadership and its effect on organizational, institutional, economic and political outcomes, we must study both nature and nurture," he added.

adolescent

The transition period is the development of adolescent between childhood into adulthood that includes major changes to the aspects of physical, cognitive, and psychosocial. According to Erikson (1968), the main task of adolescence is facing a "crisis" of identity versus identity confusion to become adults with a unique understanding of yourself that is coherent and has a valuable role in society.
During this period, adolescents begin to rely more on friends than parents to gain their support and immediacy and more sharing secrets, compared to people who are younger with their friends (Berndt & Perry, 1990; Buhrmester, 1990, 1996; Hartup & Stevens, 1999; Laursen, 1996). Women tend to be adolescent friendship closer than teen boys, more often they share a secret (Brown & Klute, 2003). Proximity to sex increases during adolescence and middle initial, then generally declined succeeded and assembled the closeness of the opposite sex (Laursen, 1996)
In adolescence there are also progression of emotions, one of which is due to the proximity of the opposite sex in teens and growing feelings of love. Love is what makes a lot of teenage depression, commit suicide, portitusi, drugs. A very deep love can be blinding the minds of teenagers. Love this can occur when the phase falik (child development) are not met. Falik is phase phase that focuses on the pleasure of playing the genitals. Here the children are experiencing falls in love with a different type of parents that is often called the Oedipus Complex (a boy like her mother) and Electra Complex (girls like her father). In this regard, the role of parents is indispensable in the education and socialization of teenagers.
Adolescent who enter into free association can ruin your health and psikology. Free association may be caused by internal factors and external factors. Internal factors coming from within her, it could happen for the psychology disturbance experienced by teenagers. This factor could be a broken home or a broken heart. While the eksteren are coming from outside factors (social life). External factors for example is a friend, boyfriend or society.

The Best Vision (Canonical Perspective)

Posted by Unknown Kamis, 17 Oktober 2013 0 komentar
Assalamu'alaikum Wr Wb

Hi friends, I will now describe a little about cognitive psychology. do you know if everyone certainly has its own perception based on past experience and stimulus.

To be able to find out more about perception, let's learn about the introduction of the object. Our ability to recognize objects that are familiar to us is an admirable characteristic owned human beings. How very berfariatif to recognize objecs can use the perceptual theories, pattern recognition, visual gestalt theory, canonical processing perspective botton-up versus top-dwon, template matching, analysis features, and matching the prototype.

But in everyday life, we can say that the canonical perspektrif is best to present his point of view (describe) an object or image (image) first appears when we remember thinking a form.

canonical can inflict in the perspective of the experience of the past, and is the easiest way in recognizing an object. For example, when asked to draw a House, then the majority of people or even entirely would definitely draw the House looked made up of triangular, square and rectangle. It happens because of our past experience, we have learned that if there is a triangle, square, rectangular and must say that it was our perception is the image of the House.

Another example of a canonical perspective is if we are given the image photo mug that looks from the side, we will be able to find out firsthand that it is the Cup. Different again if we are given the image photo mug from the top, then we will be hard knowing that iti is the image photo mug.

From these examples it is known that canonical perspective is how the introduction of the easiest objects, as in the canonical perspective there is an identification, information and agreements by many people.

Many of the reviews about the introduction of objects, may be able to add our and knowledge into useful information. If the explanations are less clear, it can be seen in the book cognitive psychology by Robert l. Solso dkk as well as other references pertaining to the introduction of the object.

memory : broken heart

Hy guys, ...

How are you?

Certainly never heard of the term memory that includes long-term memory and short-term memory. Here I will describe a little bit about memory.
The activities of our experience always involve short-term memory or commonly abbreviated to STM (Short Term Memory) and long-term memory are also in short LTM (Long Term Memory). STM/short-term memory is memory that is stored in a short time. However, short-term memory can be transformed into long-term memory.

Why is this so?

Because if the information that goes on constantly reset our STM then such information could be the LTM. the information that we can repeatedly going through the process of sensation and perception that constantly too, so centralizing full attention compared  just once, informations from STM then can changed into LTM.Capacity duration from Long Term Memory is said to be unlimited. But the LTM can also be lost (forgot) if the resulting new information.
We can see in the life around us that the existence of the resulting new information can eliminate the Long Term Memory/long-term memory that we have. For example when memorized the nomor of people that you like/care about, then the number (information) will be included in LTM, and such information can be lost (forgotten) when we can new informasion. Can be proved that when you have a new boyfriend, in a period of about 3 months or so not accidentally number ex-girlfriend will not be recalled again because you already replaced LTM (overlap) by the number of your new girlfriend.
There is a proverbial saying if we want to forget the people we care about (former) not trying to forget it. The more we tried to forget it, the recall was also against it. Because it makes our attention will be focused on him and the memories that have been there will be continuous recall.
Well ... that's all I can tell. So it's not a hard thing if we want to forget someone, and most surefire way to forget the information (the memories) stored on the LTM is not to remember it. For it is for anyone who is breaking up the love do not feel hurt for too long because of it. So forget the ex-boyfriend was not as hard as we imagine, everything depends on us: whether you want to constantly keep that in mind or want to rise from adversity by love itself by not thinking of???

Hopefully this information can add insight and can be beneficial for your who's more breakups or longer hurt because someone. Keep keep smile and live a day with enjoy.

The Largest System in the Body "Enchephalon"

Posted by Unknown Selasa, 08 Oktober 2013 0 komentar
Humans are social creatures who need others. In addition to being a human being is perfect because it has a sense of thoughts and feelings. Sense the thoughts and feelings we mutually sustaining because it could influence mood is going on. Sense thinking that distinguish us with animals and plants.

"WE THINK, WE ARE"

In this world no one can live without thinking, because all the activities that we're working on both conscious cognition process of occured or not itself which is inseparable from our brains. The brain is an organ of the body that play a role in any gestures or actions that we are doing good in the form of sensory or motor activity.

Our brain is the most fantastic creation of God than any other creature. Our brain is composed by many of the neurons. Neurons have two effects: inhibitoris (preventing) and eksitatoris (stimulating). These neurons work (communicate) with the use of chemical substances called neurotransmitters. Neuron transmitter that usher, causing chemical changes in neuron dendrites message receivers, so the form of electrical signals. Neuron transmitter is called prasinaptik, and receiver neurons called pascasinaptik.

More than one hundred billion neurons in our brain. The number of neurons in our brain has its own performance so that between one neuron with other neurons have different functions.Neurotransmisi speed between 0, 5 m/s to 120 m/s, unable to imagine how quickly the neurotransmisi process to the extent that we don't realize that we are in the process of cognition.

Amazingly, the God who has created the neurons in the brain that is so small and yet so complicated to understand. The system even more complex neurons compared to other systems in the universe that we think are already complicated really. But why there are neurons that so much but have different functions with a speed so fast??? If we think about it then, "my brain reeled when thinking about the brain" (my professor said).

Is God Almighty who knows all the creation that are so powerful and interesting for further investigation. For it deserve tp grateful with all that is within our own bodies because we have created the most perfect creature as compared to his creation.

kognitif

Language is a means of communicating and receiving information that is all around us in the form of symbol, image, motion, writing, and numbers. Languages we can capture through sensory activity contained in the human body works. Its meaningness can be different depending on the perspective of the cognitive and Groove of each individual, whether the person is directly receive information or even think of cause and effect of the information.
Think causal cognitive processes is better than just receiving information that is already there, because it could open up a broader thinking. For example when we're seeing a small child who was wearing school uniform, when he thought by receiving information directly then reveals that she was leaving the school. But conversely, if think causal would have many questions that arise, such as: who are his parents? Where was she going? Why does she wear a uniform? As well as other questions. So that we can capture and accept a wider range of information.
Not all information is all around us can be arrested and received, because the brain is limited in capacity to save memory. The working principle of the brain affects the working principles of human development as well as vice versa. Memory itself can be distinguish into two, namely: long term memory and short term memory. Short term memory happens if there is a cognitive process in hadn't, whereas Long term memory can occur if cognitive processes have been completed. Cognitive processes include how we acquire information, store information and call or use the information. The information is often a bit if accepted will be informed, such as the phrase "little by little into a long Hill".
In the explanation above, it can be concluded that cognitive is a process by which we capture information in the form of language through the sensory apparatus was then brought to the brain and kept in memory at any time that information can be used or invoked if it was needed. Cognitive processes influencing human behaviour consciously or unconsciously, be said so because every stimulus obtained will be at persepsikan (cognitive process) and will then give rise to response and response-the response is what will create a such behaviour.
Behavior in influence by each person's different cognitive processes, since the information in the get different viewpoints based on receipt of the information. To be able to see the differences then emerged a new discipline of cognitive psychology. Cognitive psychology includes the dynamics of psychology that generate behavior.
From the discussion it can be said that cognitive psychology needs to be studied so that we can become a better individual and other individuals create a superior and dignified. by: rosyida nuril izzati (12410069)
