Consciousness is the topic related to the psychology that had knocked out because it is considered scientific, but not quite reaching the rise. Consciousness is a topic containing a mystery in science includes psychology, philosophy and the Neurosciences.
Consciousness (Solso r. l., et al, 2008) was the vigilance (awareness) one of the events in their environment (such as the sights and sounds of the surrounding environment) as well as cognitive events which include memory, thoughts, feelings and sensations-physical sensations. Definition of consciousness, consciousness has two sides include an understanding of the environment surrounding stimuli, for example we may suddenly hear the chirping birds, toothache and so on. Consciousness also includes the introduction of a person against its own mental events, such as thoughts evoked by personal consciousness and memory will be his true identity. An example is when we hear birds chirping birds, remember the name or when a toothache we recall the phone number of dentists in our subscription.
The internal thoughts and personal external stimuli are just as important in determining "who we are" and "what we think". All g = our days have experienced the "conscious experiences" that once including the untold numbers, caused by the sights and sounds of the world around us, and also from internal conscious experiences countless., caused by our thoughts reflect reaction and our personal feelings.
The history of scientific psychology, consciousness begins in the 19th century as the study of conscious experiences. In a quote from William James (in r. Solso l., et al, 2008) "psychology is the science of mental life" (psychology is the science of mental life), life means life mental mentally aware. The philosophers and laymen have been pondering questions about the mind and on the nature of human beings. At the beginning of the 20th century, consciousness as a topic, almost removed from the realm of Psychology by the followers of ideological psychology that is dominant at that time, i.e., Behaviorism, which is led by John Watson and b. f. Skinner. Going on a crusade for human mind which lasted throughout the latter half of the 20th century. The war conducted by cognitive psychologists struggle to restore consciousness as an important topic, whereas the behaviorists contend defend a form of psychology that is entirely objective.
In consciousness (AWAREeness) have some framework (framework). The characteristics of the main characteristics of such frameworks include Attention, Wakefulness, Architecture, Recall of knowledge, and Emotive. In addition there are also secondary attributes that are included in this framework. The secondary attributes are Novelty, Emergence, Selectivity and Subjectivity. Also discussed in the realization of the functions of consciousness, a number of philosophers have posed the argument that consciousness is not important for most human activities, as exemplified through zombie illustration (Chalmers, 1995; Dennett, 1988), Zombie is a creature of fantasy which can do everything that we can do, however, have no awareness. In other words, the zombie may have all the receptors to recognize the color red, and use that information to choose apples that have been cooked, but still does not have the subjective experience of "the thrill of seeing the color red". This subjective experience called qualia. Qualia refers to the characteristics of sensory experience, characteristic-the subjective experience, and feelings associated with pengalanan-experience. qualia are considered subjective and the phenomenological based on the fact that human beings mengindra object overall, instead of the electromagnetic energy that indeed we detection (we see) using our retina.
