Amnesia is a kind of forgetfulness that occurs due to
a problem in the brain. Amnesia does not happen as easily as a result of a blow
to the head. Amnesia can be caused by diseases, such as Alzheimer's and
Korsakoff's syndrome. Alzheimer's disease causes memory problems, and a modern
research indicates that Alzheimer's may be caused by protein molecules attached
to excess in glumatate, which further inhibits glumatate function as activators
of memory processes in the brain (Hoe et al, 2006). Korsakoff syndrome causes
memory problems as a result of Vitamin B1 deficiency setius. An individual with
a history of extreme alcoholism and is often not long enough to consume enough
food to meet the needs of the vitamins. The result was a malfunction in
the brain because the brain cells are unable to process glucose without vitamin
B1 . The Korsakoff syndrome patients experience loss of memory about certain
events , and are often unaware that they have the memory problems . They often
form their own confabulation which details are missing from their memory
. Retrograde amnesia is the loss of memory of events prior to the occurrence of
brain injury . Most of the memory loss of events in the case of amnesia
retrogade covers the events that happened five or ten minutes before the
accident , the accident in general in the form of a violent collision . The
brain injury disturbing memory lapses are normal . Based on this information it
can be concluded that the amnesia retrogade strongly associated with failure of
consolidation . Anterograde amnesia is loss of memory about
events that occur after brain injury , patients with anterograde amnesia is
unable to form new memories . Kasusu cidrta in the brains of patients often
experience amnesia anretograde retograde and so they can not remember the
events that occurred a few minutes before the accident , and when I woke up
they are also often unable to remember the early visits of the members and of
the doctors .
My opinion:
Amnesia is a kind of forgetfulness that occurs due to a problem in the brain. Amnesia terjdi not be easy due to a blow which usually aired in the movies, but amnesia can be caused by Alzheimer's
disease and Korsakoff's syndrome. There are two types of amnesia, the amnesia and amnesia retrogade anretrogade.
