have to calculate how many years we inhabit this earth? how many years we have
enjoyed the variety of life on this earth? Most of us are probably aware that
we have to live in this world based on our age. But perhaps most of us still do
not know a thing that can continue to deliver us into the life of this world. This
thing continues to grow as long as we live and breath will stop functioning
when we have lost from our body. The object in question is the brain. We
realize that this time it is the brain that is always accompany us
down a life filled with twists and turns. Our
brains are always evolving with accompanying process of thinking that we do.
The more we often think, then our brains will continue to grow toward new
things and yet we know in ourselves. The brain will not stop growing as long as
we are still alive, and that the brain can change the world. We have seen that
a lot of emerging technology-technology that led to the development of
civilization a result of the thinking of the great people and scientists. In
other words it is the brain that helps the scientists to think that making the
world increasingly developing sophisticated.
In the world of psychology, the brain has three parts: the cortex, the limbic system and primitive reptile. Primitive live is unconscious part of our brain, while the limbic system is the part that gives the feeling of pleasure or sadness, and also the desire to do something, in which there is the hypothalamus which became a place for all the information that has been obtained. And the cortex is part of the motor and sensory centers throughout the body, the cortex is useful for selecting a desire of the limbic system which will be applied to the whole body or not. (Cristiadji, 2012)
In psychological studies say that the basic elements that make up the central nervous system in the brain is the neuron, which is a specialized cell that transmits information throughout the nervous system. (Solso et al., P 39, 2007) A study says that in our bodies there are 2 billion neurons. Everything is always connected to each other, linking to each other neurons is the synapse. Synapse also serves to send information from one neuron to another neuron. (Mukhlis, 2013) In neurons are neurotransmitters, chemical messengers that are activated in the membrane in the receiving neuron dendrites. In other words, the neurotransmitter is a tool that is used to receive information from other neurons. Information coming from the dendrites always go first and then to the axon. Dendrites and axons in neurons located. Both of them always play a role in the delivery of information. Information / stimulus received from the outside in the form of chemical messengers and then by neurons converted into electrical energy and is connected to other neurons.
