Perception is the process by which a message or information
concerning entry into
the human brain. Perception
is an integrated state
of the individual to the stimulus it receives. What lies within the individual, thoughts, feelings, experiences affect individuals will
participate actively in the process of perception.
Gibson, dkk (1989) in the book Organizational Behavior and Management, Structure; provides a definition of perception is a cognitive process that is used by individuals to interpret and understand the world around it (the object). Gibson also explained that the perception is the process of giving meaning to the environment by the individuals. Therefore, each individual gives meaning to the stimulus differently despite the same object. Way people see the situation is often more important than the situation itself.

Misperceptions , often we experience it all . Without
us knowing we did the right thing in the eyes of us but actually wrong in the
eyes of many people . Influenced
by the work of Sigmund Freud ' awareness and perceptions affect the mind , the
unconscious fears and desires affect indecent "
In cognitive psychology , we refer to the two worlds , the physical world ( external ) as well as the mental world ( internal ) . liaison with the external reality of the world of mental focus on the sensory system . Perception involves considerable cognition in interpreting sensory information . basically refers to the perception of our senses . when we listen to music , read books , or even smell the fragrance of us tasted the food , in fact we were playing around with our cognition , how we interpret something about it. Our perception is definitely not the same as others' perceptions , one object can generate a lot of perception .
From slightly above details we need to underline that , every what we know through our senses is not necessarily entirely true , because the perception is temporary before mengahsilkan a conception

Of the opinion it can be concluded that the notion of perception is
a process of sensing, stimulus received by individuals
through the sensory organs that then interpreted so
that individuals can understand
and know about the stimulus
it receives.
The process of interpreting the stimulus is usually influenced by the experience and individual learning process.
