Mnemonic technique has been known since ancient Greek and Roman times and is
still used today. Some people who use mnemonic techniques such as : marketing
experts, corporate lawyers, and even students. Is the mnemonic?
At its core, is a mnemonic techniques to remember things easier. More specifically, the mean formula or mnemonic phrase to help remember something (Big Indonesian Dictionary). And according to Stine, mnemonic is the brain's ability to connect the words, ideas, and fantasies.
Based on these definitions that can be said is a mnemonic techniques to remember the things that made it easier to make a statement or expression, or connecting words, ideas, and fantasies. In other words means mnemonic memory techniques to utilize in certain ways.
The benefits of using a mnemonic, as easy to remember, of course, will also facilitate learning. Barriers to learning will be lost. This will raise the motivation of students to study harder, so it can finally achieve optimal learning outcomes.
So, the final achievement in learning the use of mnemonic techniques is the optimal learning results with a quick and easy way. Therefore, this technique should be given to the students.

Mnemonic techniques
There are some mnemonic techniques. One of them is related method. This
method works on the assumption that the mind is not focused on one thing. The
mind is always jumping. If one thought arises, it will be followed by another
thought. By linking these thoughts, access becomes easy.
For learning, how to use mnemonic as follows : (1) prepare a fact or keywords of the subject matter that should be remembered, (2) associate these words with each other, (3) for visualization (imaginary) in mind, (4) redial words.
10 For example, students should remember the following key words : Russia, America, Elephants, Comedian, Fire, Taj Mahal, Egypt, Black, Sun, Sea (adapted from Kapadia, with adjustments 2003:56-57). The words were then associated with mnemonic techniques.
Examples link mnemonic : Russia fought against American and transform America into an elephant. The elephant ride a comedian who went to Indonesia to watch API (Academy Comedian TPI). The comedian then invited participants API to India to see the Taj Mahal. Of India, they went on a trip to Egypt to see the pyramids. In Egypt, they met people who were black. They were surprised and asked why the men were black, who answered that they were sunburned. Hear his answer that they were shocked and fell into the sea.
Of mnemonic link above example shows that the mind (the idea) of the intertwined with the thought that the second and so on. A mind bound by the following thoughts as a chain. If we recall the mind, then the other thoughts will automatically follow. Linkages are arranged to resemble a story it even easier for students to remember the entire word, because the original words as unrelated are now all seems logical and interrelated.
Visualization in mnemonic is done , for example by making a mental picture of an elephant who climbed five comedians. Over their heads seemed the sun was shining brightly and burn the bodies of black men. Or visualization of the more bizarre for maximum results. Revisions were made to the redial key words above.
