Functionalism
is an orientation in psychology that emphasizes the mental processes
and appreciate the benefits of psychology and study the functions of
consciousness in bridging between human needs and the environment . That
is , functionalism view that society is a system of several parts that
relate to each other and can not be understood in isolation .Functionalism
is a study of the mental surgery , learn the functions of consciousness
in bridging between human needs and the environment . Functionalism emphasizes the totality of the relationship of mind and behavior . Thus , the relationship between man and his environment is a manifestation of the mind and behavior .Functionalist
view that the mind , mental processes , sensory perception , and
emotion is the adaptation of a biological organism . Functionalism

phenomena , or trying to interpret the mental phenomena in terms of the
