Stereotype that a father is always stiff in
her children was still strong in society . However , recent studies
show that more and more fathers are involved with the children then
it will be good news for the development of these children .
For example, according to the report the Office on Child Abuse and Neglect in 2006 , fathers involved in parenting and also played with the baby , then they will have children who grow up with a higher IQ . Impact of father involvement also extends the time of adolescence . U.S. Department of Education in 2001 found that 43 percent of children who are involved with their biological fathers are more likely to get A's in school than children without the biological father . Other studies have also shown that involvement stepfather , foster father or other father figure can also provide the same benefits as biological father figure .
" A father affects the lives of children , " said Wilcox , editor of the book Gender and Parenthood : Biological and Social Scientific Perspectives " ( Columbia University Press , 2013) . One of them is how they play with the kids . Fathers tend to play a lot involves a physical element than women . force play helps teach children to control their bodies and emotions .
Fathers are also more likely to encourage their children to make friends with a good risk on the playground or in the life of the application . This ambition affect children in the long run .
A strong relationship between father and son would protect children as well . They will be protected from sexual violence or harassment . In addition , fathers tend to put a higher discipline than mothers . Mom was applying discipline to the children because they spend more time with the kids . However, their strategies tend to allow the children to do a lot of negotiating .
The father will generally apply greater ambitions for his daughter , assertiveness and the kinds of attitudes that he needs to get ahead in school and the workplace . " More and more fathers are involved with their children , the more likely their children thrive , " said Wilcox .

in
my opinion as a father figure in a family protection is very
important to a child's development. if the father did not accompany
the child when the child perkembanganya will tend to be weak because
no one can figure it samples. Dad also taught how to lead better than
a mother.
