Learning As A Process
Process is a word derived from
the Latin " processus " which means " go ahead " . KBBI
(1995 ) defines the process as :
1 ) sequences changes ( events )
in the development of something
2 ) The series of actions ,
manufacturing , producing or processing
3 ) The case in court
In spending the context , of
course, is the process here - if we refer to the above - dictionary is the
first sense . If we look at this word , has connotations sequence of steps or
progress that leads to a goal or purpose . Chaplin in his Dictionary of
psychology describes the process as " Any in any object or organism ,
particulary a behavioral or psychological change" . So , the process is a
change of behavior or psychiatric concerns . While the " learning process
" is " the ways or steps that may lead to some changes as well as the
achievement of certain results ( Reber , 1988 ) . Accordingly , it is clear
that learning is essentially not a goal or object , but it is a process of to
achieve the goal .
opinion :
So , in essence learning is a
process of psychological or personal events that occurred within each
individual . Learning process itself, if run properly , later giving the
results , which we sebuty with " Learning Outcomes " . The learning
outcomes will not occur or be achieved , if we do not make the process of
learning . So , we should not be surprised if we did not achieve anything if it
is in our self -learning process never happened .
