" Language " is one word that contains a lot of meaning , other than that the language is not something strange thing to say. Even today you realize I was being use language to try to talk and communicate with you that are in front of the current screen . Sometimes it comes to a question that often comes spontaneously , Whence is actually the origin of language ? The question suddenly appeared , without my realizing of it . Often we are not aware of the language amongst it came from, whether from birth ? Or is the language that has been around since the first , or is the language that comes from learning that we do at home , school or community environment possible .These questions as well as questions me when I was still in elementary school bench , even that question is often raised to date . It started when I gave the label or labeling of an object such as a pencil , book , cupboard , horses , motorcycles and so on . Sometimes I flashed to mind , why yes I can give you that label . A moment later I realized that I got it when I was given a lesson by the family , especially my mother and school teacher . But after the question tejawab , then a new question arises , then where did our ancestors give labels or nicknames on these objects .Of course it has an excuse why we can justify about how we provide attributes or labeling of an object . According to Chomsky ( in Solso , 2009) states that the most affecting aspects and the most important of language is innate ( nature) , while according to skinner acquired language learning ( nurture ) , while according to the behaviorist language is strengthening . Flow ( Chomsky ) as opposed to behaviorism and stressed the existence of natural supplies that are brought on when the child was born . This natural provision that makes children everywhere also use the same strategy in acquiring language. ( Dardjowidjojo , 2005) , so it can be seen that in both the statement that there are two opinions berlawanaan between language derived from innate factors and learning .Then came the actual language of learning or congenital factors . I think the appropriate answer to the question is to answer the nature vs. nurture has an equally important role in influencing the birth of a language . As noted by soenjono Dardjowidjojo (2005 ) in his book psycholinguistics , saying that nature is necessary because without the provision of natural creatures may not be able to speak and nurture also necessary because without input from the surrounding environment is natural that provision will not materialize , so the origin of the two factors very influential on the development of language , which was originally a man can not speak but he has only stock natural or innate potential , but the natural supplies will not be able to grow and will continue to stagnate when the potential is not getting support from the environment is through learning .Robert L Solso , O.
