Language is the one thing that was
never out of our habits. Almost every day
and even every waktupun
we always pass
it all by speaking. Either just
to talk lightly,
discussion, or we
always use language
to communicate. It also causes more dominated
by our knowledge of
words (language). Beddelay
(1990 in Solso,
Maclin & Maclin,
2007 p.273) estimates
that the number of
words whose meaning is known
by someone ranged between 20,000 and 40,000
words, while our recognition memory amount
greater than that number.
Of the estimated Beddelay, would already give you
an idea that we ought to thank and we justify it that our greatest knowledge in
the form of language. After all,
the language of each individual is able to
communicate, and the
communication that we are able to give each
other and exchange information.
Information is what will make us aware of what we want to know. Thus it is appropriate if
the word or the language we use to say as individual knowledge.
What each individual obtained from
the process of speaking was then stored in
memory. And people will remember recaall
process undertaken. Diartika knowledge itself
as part of a
system or network
structured information (Solso, Maclin & Maclin,
2007).
A concrete example that affects language and
provide enough knowledge
for the individual is the golden word for example,
we will remember
it as a precious metal. Even this word if the
two are connected with the knowledge
that another party will be longer for individuals, for example, as a part of a mineral. Another example
is the cassowary
we will remember
it as a bird,
and if we want to think again
we will meet
with the Papuans,
which is the name of the origin of birds.
This is to say that the language is
very giving sumbangsi the knowledge of the
individual.
